A high-impact, content driven journey designed for creators. Expect professional development workshops, masterclasses, and real-world gear testing while sailing the Nile and exploring Egypt's icons.
You’ll share guided experiences by day, with plenty of open time to recharge—or chase your own story—by night. The trip begins in Cairo, pivots to a four-night, all-inclusive Nile cruise, and crescendos through Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan before returning to Cairo’s atmospheric old quarters. By the time you fly home, picking a “best day” will feel impossible. (Yes, Egypt really is that amazing.)
Onboard Professional Development (During the Cruise): Learn, Create, Launch
As a creator, you will receive a curated Sponsor Gear Kit to use and keep—designed for real-world testing and on-camera storytelling. Anticipated items include comfort & travel accessories, anti-theft carry, eyewear, hydration, and sleep systems from participating sponsors. Gear will be distributed two weeks before departure to Cairo so you can put it to work from Day One of the adventure.
During the four-night Nile cruise, the TGA will host a concentrated slate of professional development, workshops, and masterclasses led by Brands, Guest Professionals, Guest Creators, and the TGA—scheduled during sail times/evenings so you won’t miss excursions. Expect:
Brand Sessions: Product storytelling, proof moments, and messaging frameworks—plus hands-on capture labs to test gear in real conditions.
Guest Professional Training: Practical modules on lighting, audio, field workflows, safety/cultural etiquette, and rapid editing in mobile/desktop environments.
Creator Masterclasses: Hooks, narrative structure, multiplatform packaging, distribution strategy, and monetization tactics with brands.
TGA Acceleration: How to land features in TGA Magazine, the HUB, the TGA Show/TravelCon, and warm introductions to retailers, brands, and destinations.
Outputs & Support: Clear deliverable targets (hero video, short-form set, photo selects), shared asset library, and post-trip analytics + placement support to maximize reach and ROI.
In short: the cruise doubles as your creative studio and launchpad—learn, produce, and leave with publish-ready content and real industry connections

Day 1 begins with a morning flight from Cairo to Aswan, where your adventure continues at the beautiful Philae Temple set on an island in the Nile. In time for lunch, you’ll board the elegant Sonesta Star Goddess cruise ship, your floating home for the next few days. As evening arrives, enjoy a tranquil sunset sail on the Nile, a gourmet dinner onboard, and a vibrant Nubian folkloric show to end the night.
Day two starts with a visit to the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel Temples before returning for lunch onboard. In the afternoon, explore Kom Ombo Temple and then enjoy a rooftop BBQ with cocktails and the captain’s welcome as you sail overnight toward Luxor. Top the night off with a movie night in the Lounge Bar.
Enjoy breakfast as you continue your sail toward Luxor. After a relaxed lunch onboard the Sonesta Star Goddess and a chance to meet the captain on the bridge, the afternoon unfolds amid the grand colonnades of Karnak and Luxor Temples, illuminated in golden light. As evening falls, return to the ship for dinner and a lively program of entertainment—featuring a Whirling Dervish and belly dance performance—before donning traditional dress for the festive Galabeya Party in the lounge and bar.
Rise early for an optional sunrise hot-air balloon ride over Luxor ($125), a breathtaking way to see the Valley of the Kings from above. After landing, step into ancient history with guided visits to the Valley of the Kings, the alabaster workshops, and the terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. You’ll also see the Colossi of Memnon standing guard over the West Bank. By late morning, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival in the afternoon, check in at your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner.
After an early breakfast, travel to Giza to stand in awe before the iconic pyramids and the enigmatic Sphinx. Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where millennia of history come alive through breathtaking treasures and artifacts. After lunch, journey into Old Cairo, exploring the fortress of Babylon and its historic churches, including the Hanging Church, the Greek Church of Saint George, and the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus—believed to have sheltered the Holy Family. End the afternoon wandering the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the world’s oldest shopping mall, where stalls overflow with exotic gifts and souvenirs. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and reflection on the day’s extraordinary experiences.
